In this tutorial, we will learn how to write text on a path, this was almost not possible in the earlier versions of Photoshop up to version 7, but now its pretty simple to work with this new feature that has been introduced since CS.
Writing text on path can be quite useful and enhance the designs of your layouts etc. Designing cards, banners or poster, putting text on the paths can add some spice!

Here’s what we should get at the end:

Open up a new canvas, File > New, set the width and height according to your requirements, here i am using a canvas size of 550 by 550 pixels

To write the text on a path , the first thing which is needed of course is the path! Select the Pen tool from the tool bar.

Your mouse pointer will change to a pen icon. On the canvas click once, where you would like the path to start. You will notice a small square, this is an Anchor point.

To generate a nice curve, click and drag for the second anchor point a little further away from the first point.
Similarly, click and drag for the third anchor point, and so forth, according to the direction of the path you want.
