This tutorial will guide you in creating a simple text effect using the pattern presets in Photoshop. You will discover how to create your own pattern and apply it to a specific font’s outline. 1) Start off by creating a new Photoshop document with a width of 1000 and a height of 240 pixels. Using a very bold font, type in your text and resize it to fit the window. In this case, the font size is around 40 pt, but your mileage will of course vary depending on the font you are using.

In this tutorial we’re gonna create a website template using photoshop. I’m not gonna cover how to write the HTML for the design, I will only go on and create the design of the template using photoshop. 1) Open a new document. For width specify 770, and for height specify 400. 2) Create a new layer. press the Rectangular Marquee Tool from the toolbox, and make a rectangle as in the following picture. Fill The rectangle with black using the Paint Bucket Tool.
