Written By: Pixelseed

Step 12

We are now going to do exactly the same thing, but this time with the text going down. To create this effect, SHIFT+T to cycle through the different text tools. Look for the text tool icon with an arrow going down (See below). Now drag the type tool over your canvas and type whatever you need.

Step 13

Don’t forget to select the text, copy it, delete the type layer and create a new empty layer. CRTL+ALT+V to enter the vanishing point. Here you can see I have made a larger plane, using the corner of the wall, the doorway and the bottom of the street sign as guides.

As before, CRTL+V to paste our text, then move and scale it using the transform tool.

Step 15

Repeat the same procedure as before but this time want the bevel to appear a little darker. To do this, just check the box next to the ‘Contour’ style. And that’s all there is to it. Please don’t stop here. What you need to do now is to create your own text and experiment as much as possible. Use different layer styles to crate different effects, and try to build on what you have learnt. I hope this tutorial has been useful and you got something out of it.
